Jofra Archer is set to return to competitive cricket after an 18-month, two-game absence for MI Cape Town in the South African T20 cricket league.
Jofra Archer will return to competitive cricket after 18 months due to elbow problems and a stress fracture in his back. He made his successful debut in November when the Lions played nine overs before the Pakistan Test series in Abu Dhabi when they took on England.
To further prepare, Archer will play two matches for MI Cape Town in the South African T20 cricket league, which can be watched live on Sky Sports Cricket. If he does, he will be selected for South Africa’s ODI series, increasing his total from four to ten.
