In just 326 balls, Mumbai opener Prithvi Shaw bagged his first high-flying three hundred, adding the required 60 runs to his tally for the night. In the end, he scored 379 out of 383, ranking second in Ranji Trophy history behind BB Nimbalkar’s 443* when he represented Maharashtra against Saurashtra in 1948. Shaw’s excellent innings finally ended when Riyan Parag caught him with an lbw.
