Mahrez encourages Manchester City to ‘strike the ground running’ when they return to the Premier League to keep their title aspirations alive.
WHAT THEY SAID: Speaking on the club’s website, Mahrez stated, “We have to strike the ground running. We are not now at the top of the Premier League, and we would like to be. We’ll take it game by game, but our goal is to win another championship. There are many quality clubs in England that might still win the league, therefore we are not solely focused on Arsenal, despite their excellent performance thus far. If we want to win the league, we must be ready as soon as the season resumes.”
